Developing a pattern of volume increase every single year, the Port of Savannah reported a 7.3% upsurge over last year’s September record in handling twenty-foot equivalent container units.

The double digit growth came as a surprise as ports authorities anticipated a normal pattern of operations this year. Listed as one of the Top 10 fastest growing ports in the world, the Port of Savannah continues its commitment for customer service satisfaction.
